Bound-to-Stay-Bound features book bindings that librarians have come to love for their tough, kid-proof durability. BTSB guarantees 100 circulations per book. Their catalog of books and resources is now available on
the Internet. BTSB's online searching and ordering features are similar to other library book ordering websites. A great resource.

The internet edition of Follett Library Resources' Titlewave is an online catalog of over 85,000 book, CD-ROM and AV titles. It is a free, online service that allows you to first custom search for the subject,
authors, and titles you want, then save and edit your searches to create orders. You can summit your order online or print out lists to attach to your purchase order. Many listings are accompanied by reviews. A great way to find books.
Perma-Bound
is another excellent company that is a favorite of many schools and librarians because of their strong bindings and economical pricing. Perma-Bound offers 35,000+ titles and now has online searching and ordering capability. One of Perma-Bound's website special features is "Perma-Picks,"
titles organized by themes and popular children's authors.

resource. R. R. Bower provides an online version of the
highly regarded Books In Print. This product is an
indispensable resource for booksellers, publishers and
librarians, which offers complete, unbiased bibliographic
information on over 5 million in-print, out-of-print, and
forthcoming book, audio, and video titles.

This is one of the award-winning sites from the Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklebury County's family of websites. The reviews are by librarians from branch libraries in the Meckleburg County system. Reviews are organized in over 20 different categories. Through an
arrangement with Amazon.com, all book reviews are accompanied by color reproductions of the book's cover and a hot link to order the book online at a discount, with part of the purchase price donated to the PLCMC.

This is a great site for reviews of good books for kids organized in several handy ways; alphabetically by title, author, type, and grade level; or by curriculum areas or themes. The newest titles are in a newsletter you can sign up to have emailed to you each month. Carol
Hurst, an author of many articles and books on education herself, also reviews professional books for teachers and parents. This is a commerical site, but it is also a great resource for incorporating children's literature into all areas of the curriculum.
